Stacia Wilkins, Owner and Manager
Born and raised in Colorado I developed a love
for physical activity- my preference is anything outdoors (Colorado is a huge playground really)-- hiking, biking, triathlons and running. You know... those things that make you tight!! Trying to counter the effects of old age and gravity and tight muscles, I found yoga & fell in love with it and the different challenges it presents from a mind and body perspective. I'm a true adrenaline junkie, so I have struggled to find the peace and serenity in yoga but it has forced me to think outside of the adrenaline box and has landed a secure and important place in my athletic routine.
Prior to becoming CEO of the Wilkins' household and having 3 little girls, I worked in a variety of capacities, mainly finance, sales & consulting. I spent 4.5 years overseas in Paris, Munich & London. I have an B.S. undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in finance and marketing and an M.B.A. from DePaul university in Quantitative Analysis.
Twist was the brainchild of two stay at home moms who loved fun fashions both on the yoga mat and off. Coming up with whimsical designs- tie dye, embroidered, painted, stitched yoga wear was only the beginning. The idea was so successful, that a whole line of clothing was developed. Now Twist brings a full assortment of athletic wear, casual wear, lounge wear, kids wear, boys wear, and of course, keeping its roots of yoga wear. Twist continues to hand custom dye and design 90% of its clothing. Namaste.
